Today's Devotion
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for Thou art with me..." (Psalm 23:4, NASB).

What's a valley? It's a depression. This valley can speak of the dark times that we, the sheep of God, are called to go through. Dark times: Times when it seems like hope is eclipsed.

Have you ever seen a lunar eclipse? Slowly the moon's light is covered by the shadow of the earth. There are times in our lives when we feel like the only light we have is being overshadowed by dark, hope seems to be eclipsed.

"God, where are You? Why do I have to go through this depression alone? Why do I have to walk through the valley of the shadow all by myself?"

These are times when we need to realize we're not alone.

Today's ScriptShare
"Just see what this godly sorrow produced in you! Such earnestness, such concern to clear yourselves, such indignation, such alarm, such longing to see me, such zeal, and such a readiness to punish wrong. You showed that you have done everything necessary to make things right. My purpose, then, was not to write about who did the wrong or who was wronged. I wrote to you so that in the sight of God you could see for yourselves how loyal you are to us. We have been greatly encouraged by this" (2 Corinthians 7:11-13a).
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine on you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance on you,
And give you peace.
